Choc Banana Nice-Cream

This Chocolate Banana Nice Cream is creamy, delicious and so good that you won’t even miss the real cream! It’s the perfect way to cool down this summer and enjoy a guilt free treat at the same time.

This recipe makes two very generous serves or four smaller serves.


  • 4 ripe bananas, cut into chunks and frozen overnight
  • 4 tablespoons of raw cacao powder
  • 1 tablespoon of pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup coconut cream
  • 1 tablespoon cacao nibs (to serve)


Use a food processor or high speed blender to make your Chocolate Banana Nice Cream. Put the frozen banana pieces into the food processor or blender first and pulse for a few seconds to break up the banana. Scrape down the sides of the bowl. Add the remaining ingredients to the mixing bowl and blend the mixture on high speed until the mixture turns to a soft serve consistency. This may take a minute or two.

Serve your Chocolate Banana Vegan Ice Cream immediately. Place large scoops of the mixture into your favourite dessert bowl and top with some cacao nibs.
