Who is behind Go Health Clubs
The owners of Go Health Clubs each have at least 15 years experience in establishing, managing and training in health clubs. They came together through a shared vision to establish health clubs that provide a unique member experience.
Niki Dean
Over the last 12 years Niki Dean has established a great reputation within the fitness industry both here and overseas. His passion, vision and unique “out of the box” approach, along with the input of other key industry people enabled the Go Health Clubs Concept to be born.
Niki studied a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Business in the U.K before progressing into Health Club management in the U.K. He then travelled to the U.S.A where he worked for the MLS (Major League Soccer) in program development for children. During this time he worked with the New York Metro Stars, Chicago Fire and New England Revolution. From there Niki landed in Australia and progressed on to work for the Australian distributor of the world’s largest fitness company ‘Life Fitness’. In his role as consultant, Niki worked with and set up many Health Clubs for both independent and chain fitness centres around the country. Having observed the best and worse aspects of the fitness industry Niki was able to formulate a concept which he believes will fill a massive whole in the industry.
Niki and his colleagues have also developed system’s which they believe are currently unrivalled by other fitness centres. He states “It’s really quite simple when you look at why we are different? We are a totally service based club! The membership option we recommend for you is based on vital health and lifestyle information you provide. We have the ability to use unique software exclusive to Go Health Clubs (H.A.L.I – Health And Lifestyle Indicator – see Go Results section) which tailors a membership option which is going get you your results quickly!’ We are a RESULTS BASED club! This is ultimately what makes us unique”
Sue Howard
Sue Howard originated from the U.K where she worked in a customer service based roles. After immigrating to Australia 16 years ago Sue worked for a Sydney based company managing a successful retail outlet based in Brisbane. Sue became seriously interested in fitness only a couple of years ago. Since starting on the road to fitness Sue has achieved some amazing things not only physically but in her personal life too. Sue states:
“Working-out has honestly given me a great deal of pleasure in that it gets me away from the daily grind and makes me feel good about myself. I am over the moon in what I have achieved in such a short space of time. One thing you can’t measure is how much energy and self confidence exercise gives you. Those two things I have gained in abundance. The programs we have developed are very clever and really work, they are sensational. If you’re serious about achieving your goals, come and see us”!
Daniel Ross
Daniel Ross has Bachelor of Leisure Management and has been Managing Health Clubs for one of the larger Fitness Centre Operators for the last 5 years. Daniel entered the fitness industry after a successful junior career as a long distance runner and has been weight training since he was 16. Daniel's philosophy on fitness is to keep it simple. "Its not unusual for me to do 3 weights exercises and 20 minutes cardio and I'm done in 40 minutes. Its not the duration of the workout, it's the intensity and consistency"
Daniel joined Go Health Clubs as a Director due to a desire to operate clubs that provided members with a greater chance of seeing results. "Many of the previous fitness companies I worked for weren't centred on members' achieving results. In setting up Go Health Clubs, we have spent much time and resources developing software, systems, services and providing equipment that will make it easier for our members to achieve results!"
